Spectators: 7395 (Terracing: 5547, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafael Maria Betanzos got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Rafael Maria Betanzos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erasmo Aceituno. Rafael Maria Betanzos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pere Frost charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pere Frost the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cartago AFC booed when Concepcion AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pere Frost didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Ramon Angeloni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Leay in the 10th minute of play. Vicente Lecaroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jose Ramon Angeloni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Cartago AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Maria Betanzos came free, but Erasmo Aceituno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Concepcion AFC's Rafael Maria Betanzos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Elias Leay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cartago AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Leay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Ramon Angeloni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cartago AFC's Erasmo Aceituno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Maria Betanzos in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Enzo Martini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepcion AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Martini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Concepcion AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Lecaroz came free, but Jose Ramon Angeloni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vicente Lecaroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Maria Betanzos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Aceituno having to interfere.

The wind increased when Elias Leay made the kick off in the second half. Concepcion AFC's Jose Ramon Angeloni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Leay in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Justo Avilés hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Ramon Angeloni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Leay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Concepcion AFC's Jose Ramon Angeloni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Leay in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Jeraldo Galván hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Aceituno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Martini in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Elias Leay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 76th match minute, Concepcion AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bermejo Rojo to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Aceituno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Maria Betanzos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jose Ramon Angeloni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Leay in the 82nd minute of the match. Enzo Martini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vicente Lecaroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Martini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 96 played minutes Elias Leay rounded Concepcion AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1.
