In a very dangerous position, a player in Querquel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 23rd minute, Zelipe Akel made a precise shot to the right of Mario Larralde. Querquel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mario Larralde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco José Ballero, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Faustino Chiguaicura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Henson having to interfere. After 37 played minutes, Querquel's Nemesio Villamayor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orlando Henson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Querquel reached it. After 38 played minutes Caucau got a freekick which was hit by Quintán Marull. Ricard Vivanco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Roque Tellez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Zelipe Akel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Francisco José Ballero made the kick off in the second half. Querquel's Mario Larralde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zelipe Akel in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Francisco José Ballero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caucau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco José Ballero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Iván Luis Santelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlando Henson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Faustino Chiguaicura got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Zelipe Akel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco José Ballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mario Larralde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Zelipe Akel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Trujillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Henson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Caucau's zone, Alfonso Trujillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Henson came out of the goal and Alfonso Trujillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Querquel's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
