The supporters of centenario 1 booed when Algorta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacindo Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Algorta FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacindo Johnson. 36 minutes into the match, Algorta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nastasio Antonucci came free, but José Marcelo Albertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Orellas short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Horacio Jesus Montoya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enzo Biggs to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Algorta FC's Cecilio Orella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horacio Jesus Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Godofredo Sances's late challenge caught a Algorta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
