Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blanco Casas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alvino Makaus kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Honorio Iturriaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14th minute Blanco Casas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Mas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mapupehuen's Victorio Puelma got control of the ball when Pere Jordi Markovic tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geofredo Ribilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Abdul Mas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Lingue's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Casas came free, but Abdul Mas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Alvino Makaus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdul Mas skillfully saved the ball. When Alonso Gafo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mapupehuen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonso Gafo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonso Gafo in the 38th minute of play forced Lingue's goalkeeper Abdul Mas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baraquiel Marinovic kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Pere Jordi Markovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mapupehuen's Alonso Gafo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Mapupehuen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 58th match minute, Lingue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrés Painemal to maneuver through the defense. Abdul Mas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blanco Casas in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Mapupehuen's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Iturriaga came free, but Victorio Puelma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Lingue got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Duran. Abdul Mas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blanco Casas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorio Puelma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pere Jordi Markovic in the 78th minute of the match. Alvino Makaus's late challenge caught a Lingue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvino Makaus helped the player get up and apologised. Alvino Makaus hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Sebastián Adasme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Lingue's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alonso Gafo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 96 minutes into the match, Lingue's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Casas came free, but Abdul Mas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mapupehuen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
