An unexpectedly hard shot by Liberto Bórquez in the 16th minute of play forced Purranque AFC's goalkeeper Reyes Cuadra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Gaston Dragicevic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Agustín Pulgar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purranque AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mulchen FC the free kick. When Eber Picarte came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Mulchen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eber Picarte couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Celestino Otazo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reyes Cuadra was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Liberto Bórquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liberto Bórquez struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. The supporters of Mulchen FC booed when Purranque AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Caro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Purranque AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Viviano Granic fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 56th minute of the match, Viviano Granic got a very nice opportunity to score, but Reyes Cuadra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mulchen FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Purranque AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Viviano Granic took the corner. Miquel Edwards showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ysidro Pinaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Aitor Cano's late challenge caught a Mulchen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aitor Cano helped the player get up and apologised. Aitor Cano hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Purranque AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Liberto Bórquez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eber Picarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mulchen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eber Picarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reyes Cuadra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 84 minutes, Fulco Asenjo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mulchen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulco Asenjo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Purranque AFC's zone, Celestino Otazo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reyes Cuadra came out of the goal and Celestino Otazo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Celestino Otazo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reyes Cuadra. That made the score 1-1 in the 87 minute of play. In the 90th minute, Mario Caro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reyes Cuadra made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Viviano Granic sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Javier Boll during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mulchen FC's José Javier Boll got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Mulchen FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
