Américo Guarda hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mulchen FC booed when Ilque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Otazo in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Chao saved Ilque from getting behind. In the 18th match minute, Ilque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodemo Roca to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Gaspar Warner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Warner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes, Celestino Otazo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ilque's Miguel Chao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
