Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferrando Villalobos started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Pietro Mesina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renihue AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pietro Mesina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quim Bezanilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Salvador Goycolea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quim Bezanilla. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Quechoco's Quim Bezanilla got control of the ball when Salvador Goycolea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quechoco's Quim Bezanilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Quechoco from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietro Mesina in the 16th minute of play forced Quechoco's goalkeeper Quim Bezanilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pietro Mesina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quim Bezanilla having to interfere. Quim Bezanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Goycolea in the 20th minute of the match. Ramiro Dietert kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Quechoco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eusebio Olasagutia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Pietro Mesina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Olasagutia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quim Bezanilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Goycolea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alonzo Cordoba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renihue AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Cordoba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quim Bezanilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quim Bezanilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Goycolea in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Eusebio Olasagutia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renihue AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Olasagutia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quim Bezanilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Goycolea in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quim Bezanilla saved Quechoco from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Salvador Goycolea made the kick off in the second half. Quim Bezanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Goycolea in the 55th minute of the match. If Pietro Mesina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Manzanal hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferrando Villalobos in the 60th minute of play forced Renihue AFC's goalkeeper Nastasio Puerta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damián Villamar got free with Nastasio Puerta in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quechoco's Ferrando Villalobos got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salvador Goycolea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Quim Bezanilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Goycolea might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quim Bezanilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Goycolea ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ferrando Villalobos came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Quechoco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferrando Villalobos couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Salvador Goycolea sped through Quechoco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Quim Bezanilla. 4-0 became the score in the 84th minute when Salvador Goycolea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Pietro Mesina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renihue AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pietro Mesina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Eusebio Olasagutia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Renihue AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. There was no doubt that Renihue AFC were the better team. Renihue AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
