The San pedro Innametes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nicanor Colipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucián Clavijo in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes San pedro Innametes got a freekick which was hit by Lucián Clavijo. The audience was convinced that Lucián Clavijo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicanor Colipi was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as San pedro Innametes's Lucián Clavijo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicanor Colipi. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. After 23 minutes, Zenón Jaime mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naltagua and the San pedro Innametes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zenón Jaime kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Lucián Clavijo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naltagua's Nicanor Colipi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, San pedro Innametes's Patricio Abufhele got a free kick in the 26th minute. Lucián Clavijo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Colipi having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, San pedro Innametes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Abufhele to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Colipi came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by San pedro Innametes's Lucián Clavijo. But to his dismay, Lucián Clavijo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zenón Jaime was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Naltagua got a freekick which was hit by Jeraldo Bueno. Patricio Abufhele kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Lucián Clavijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Colipi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Anselmo Pretot managed to get in a good position for a shot. San pedro Innametes's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Pretot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Colipi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicanor Colipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucián Clavijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
