Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lagos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Providencia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorencio Carretero to maneuver through the defense. When Ubaldo Molina came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Alicahue AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Molina couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Providencia AFC booed when Alicahue AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Landon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Providencia AFC's Justo Escala tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Adelino Ortuguren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Molina in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Oriol Mattensohn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes, Adriano Ambrosetti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alicahue AFC and the Providencia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Providencia AFC booed when Alicahue AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Landon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Oriol Mattensohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Providencia AFC's Lorencio Carretero got a free kick in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ubaldo Molina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alicahue AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Molina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Ortuguren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Donato Salvador sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tor Ansola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriol Mattensohn in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Providencia AFC's Casimiro Ibáñez got a free kick in the 57th minute. Donato Salvador fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Ansola having to interfere. After some careless play in the Providencia AFC defense, Ubaldo Molina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adelino Ortuguren. The Providencia AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adelino Ortuguren should have stopped the shot. Adelino Ortuguren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lagos in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Salvador in the 77th minute of play forced Alicahue AFC's goalkeeper Tor Ansola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes, Providencia AFC's Zavier Reygadas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tor Ansola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Providencia AFC reached it. Ubaldo Molina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adelino Ortuguren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Providencia AFC's Adelino Ortuguren got control of the ball when Ubaldo Molina tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Alicahue AFC's Mariano Lagos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelino Ortuguren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mariano Lagos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
