Victoriano Vives recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pureo AFC booed when Libun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Caldera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xulián Tobar was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Manolo Mahotiere capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manolo Mahotiere really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Manolo Mahotiere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Libun got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Torrijo. Libun's Xulián Tobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Mahotiere in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Victoriano Vives managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libun's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Vives was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurilio Noria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xamín Berna hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Manolo Mahotiere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manolo Mahotiere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Isasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Xulián Tobar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolo Mahotiere in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xulián Tobar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolo Mahotiere in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xulián Tobar saved Libun from getting behind. Xulián Tobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo Mahotiere in the 41st minute of the match. With a little luck, Libun's Xulián Tobar got control of the ball when Juan Isasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlín Peñailillo's late challenge caught a Libun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlín Peñailillo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 49th minute of the match Angelo Caldera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurilio Noria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Vives was the one to do the kick off. After 94 played minutes Libun got a freekick which was hit by Manuelo Siredey. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Mahotiere in the 95th minute of play forced Libun's goalkeeper Xulián Tobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Libun players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pureo AFC.
