Erik Gac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Angelo Caldera charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Caldera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Anastasio Hetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xulián Tobar was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The supporters of Palmilla AFC booed when Libun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Caldera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Palmilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Vives came free, but Erik Gac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Palmilla AFC had played much better football throughout.
