Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vinos Ambrosio kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Puyan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Pardow to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Vichuquen AFC's Abdón Albert got control of the ball when David Feyto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 played minutes Vichuquen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Labarca. When Manuel Madden fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vichuquen AFC's protests and gave Manuel Madden a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Puyan FC booed when Vichuquen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Madden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martino Urruticoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ever Detmer in the 19th minute of play. Eugenio Mena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Puyan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Mena came free, but Martino Urruticoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eugenio Mena came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vichuquen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Mena couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Vichuquen AFC booed when Puyan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvatore Caso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ever Detmer to strike the kick off in the second half. Xacobo Palomera shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Alexandre Marmentini hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Eugenio Mena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Puyan FC's Martino Urruticoechea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Puyan FC from getting a goal against them. Martino Urruticoechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ever Detmer in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Puyan FC booed when Vichuquen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Madden didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ever Detmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Puyan FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Zavier Minden hit a great ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Vinos Ambrosio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puyan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinos Ambrosio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Feyto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdón Albert having to interfere. Topocho Moyano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Ever Detmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Urruticoechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vichuquen AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
