Florín Arrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Mosca in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Ninquihue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Buitrago came free, but Maurín Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ninquihue FC's Maurín Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Buitrago in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Quique Arenas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maurín Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Buitrago in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurín Arias saved Ninquihue FC from getting behind. Maurín Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Buitrago in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Lampa were awarded a corner. Valiente Fiedler went to the cornerflag to take it. Valiente Fiedler made a great header on Lampa's corner, it was just that Ninquihue FC's Maurín Arias managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 33rd minute Francisco Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurín Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ninquihue FC defense, Francisco Lobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurín Arias. The Ninquihue FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurín Arias should have stopped the shot. Quique Arenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Valiente Fiedler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rutenio Vallejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Maurín Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ninquihue FC's Maurín Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Ninquihue FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ninquihue FC's Maurín Arias got control of the ball when Flavio Buitrago tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ninquihue FC booed when Lampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Arteaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lampa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
