But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zelipe Saldés couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes Pirineos got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Byers. Meseta Azul S.A's Demesio Jorquera got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Demesio Jorquera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Paillemil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 41st match minute, Pirineos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baudelio Grillo to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Peyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gaspar Paillemil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bairon Monckeberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Paillemil made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Demesio Jorquera sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Erwenne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairon Monckeberg in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bairon Monckeberg in the 63rd minute of play forced Meseta Azul S.A's goalkeeper Patricio Erwenne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Galiano scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Erwenne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th match minute, Pirineos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurín Madariaga to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Demesio Jorquera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaspar Paillemil. That made the score 1-2 in the 75 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Murillo Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meseta Azul S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Murillo Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Paillemil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pirineos's Pablo Byers couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Meseta Azul S.A. After a rather tough play, Meseta Azul S.A's Reyes Cardoso got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Demesio Jorquera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gaspar Paillemil. The goal made the score 1-3. Demesio Jorquera succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 87th playminute. 93 minutes into the match, Pirineos's goalkeeper Gaspar Paillemil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demesio Jorquera. Pirineos's Laurín Madariaga got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Meseta Azul S.A walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
