In the 17th match minute, Puraquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eladio Salles to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Maria Boza's shot from long distance in the 18th minute was not bad at all, but Puraquina's Donavin McPhilip knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The attack was good, but when Anier Lucero in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Enric Bafalluy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutenio Parga, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Enric Bafalluy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Manhood in the 26th minute of the match. Amadeo Ondino lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Piscoleros FC! Donavin McPhilip was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gualterio Jerrald showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 40 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Rafael Maria Boza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Fuentealba charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Piscoleros FC booed when Puraquina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Fuentealba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Anier Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donavin McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
