The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Herminio Jadue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. Ulises Narváez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeraldo Massardo in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Jeraldo Massardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Narváez. Shielifield United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeraldo Massardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ulises Narváez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeraldo Massardo in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Lázaro Diestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enric Bafalluy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Diestre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Piscoleros FC booed when Shielifield United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Diestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Narváez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeraldo Massardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeraldo Massardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulises Narváez. That made the score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. Piscoleros FC made a substitution. Juan Ignacio Caamaño replaced Leandro Lorencio. The Piscoleros FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
