Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 90) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Salamón Chamaca got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Ulises Abarza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Podador Alveal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salamón Chamaca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vasco Queirolo came out and tried to block the shot, but Salamón Chamaca slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute Salamón Chamaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Queirolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Podador Alveal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimír Garachena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Mónico Feldman got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Aris to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Catalá charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Catalá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Chacarillas got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Catalá. If Ulises Abarza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco Queirolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salamón Chamaca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Podador Alveal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimír Garachena, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Bernardo Catalá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Ulises Abarza made a precise shot to the right of Podador Alveal. Chacarillas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Casimír Garachena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Podador Alveal having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Roque Markmann hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Salamón Chamaca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarillas's supporters rose to their feet, but Salamón Chamaca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasco Queirolo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Ulises Abarza made a precise shot to the right of Podador Alveal. Chacarillas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Ulises Abarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Podador Alveal having to interfere. If Casimír Garachena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Abarza struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Podador Alveal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Vasco Queirolo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Chacarillas's Angelo Iriberry. But to his dismay, Angelo Iriberry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Ulises Abarza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Chacarillas getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gervasio Minden hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Casimír Garachena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Podador Alveal. The goal made the score 2-4. 86 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Salamón Chamaca came free, but Vasco Queirolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Queirolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salamón Chamaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Angelo Iriberry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vasco Queirolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Queirolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salamón Chamaca in the 95th minute of play. Boca Juniors's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
