Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardo Arizaga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Liberto Campos hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Tricolor de paine's Quintán Marín proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Tricolor de paine from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Natalio Faez in the 16th minute really tested Quintán Marín's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Orlín Aranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ambillo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tricolor de paine the free kick. In the 17th minute, Orlín Aranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Moncho Dragicevic came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Tricolor de paine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moncho Dragicevic couldn't finish the play. If Orlín Aranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintán Marín made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Juan Fernando Garland sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Ambillo AFC's Enrique Majeux ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Quintán Marín. Quintán Marín yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. During the 30th minute of the match Orlín Aranda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Orlín Aranda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 31 played minutes Ambillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Orlín Aranda. Juan Fernando Garland succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 35th playminute. A collision led to Ambillo AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Archibaldo Giagier hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Archibaldo Giagier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raimundo Fell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Arizaga's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Teodor Beca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Fernando Garland to strike the kick off in the second half. Quintán Marín showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archibaldo Giagier in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes Tricolor de paine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Podador Anguita who took care of the corner kick. Ambillo AFC's Podador Anguita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Quintán Marín in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 64 minutes, Archibaldo Giagier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ambillo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Archibaldo Giagier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Fernando Garland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Quintán Marín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quintán Marín didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Fernando Garland went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the game, Enrique Majeux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Quintán Marín was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Fernando Garland in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quintán Marín prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
