Omar Carrizo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gustavo Maquieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chumilden FC. After some careless play in the Calvario defense, Domenico Salvadore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Maquieira. The Calvario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Maquieira should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Carrizo in the 25th minute of play forced Calvario's goalkeeper Gustavo Maquieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Domenico Salvadore notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Calvario's Gustavo Maquieira. Gustavo Maquieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Chumilden FC's zone, Francisco Javier Daza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Cofquecura came out of the goal and Francisco Javier Daza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eder Villouta struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Severino Cofquecura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calvario. Domenico Salvadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gustavo Maquieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Chumilden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Estévez to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eder Villouta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Chumilden FC's goalkeeper Severino Cofquecura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Javier Daza. Gustavo Maquieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Carrizo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Chumilden FC's Geraldo Ochagavia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Maquieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Omar Carrizo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Maquieira having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chumilden FC had played much better football throughout.
