Benicio Fett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rollo Cisternas in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Romualdo Colipi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chucalen FC and the Canete AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Chucalen FC got a freekick which was hit by Romualdo Colipi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Martos in the 36th minute of play forced Chucalen FC's goalkeeper Josué Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Romualdo Colipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Fett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Juan Alfonso Sobuage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Martos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Martos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Palmer having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gaspar Martos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canete AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Martos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Palmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaspar Martos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josué Palmer having to make a save. Chucalen FC's Josué Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Martos in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Chucalen FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ubaldo Matildo Landaeta hit a great ball. If Juan Alfonso Sobuage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although Canete AFC had been in control for most of the match, Chucalen FC still came away with the win.
