The referee ignored False Flags's protests and gave Elazar Valdebenito a yellow card for diving instead. Elazar Valdebenito hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gerardo Rast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Badiola having to interfere. After a rather tough play, False Flags's León Passi got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Ruyman Sotelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The False Flags fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when False Flags's Ofelio Elso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ofelio Elso struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Matteo Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for False Flags. After a defensive mix-up in Palguin's zone, Ernesto Jaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matteo Rocha came out of the goal and Ernesto Jaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruyman Sotelo in the 27th minute of play forced False Flags's goalkeeper Norberto Badiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Palguin booed when False Flags was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. León Passi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, False Flags was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Elguea to maneuver through the defense. Matteo Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Jaña in the 34th minute of play. When Ofelio Elso came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the False Flags fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ofelio Elso couldn't finish the play. Ofelio Elso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Matteo Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Palguin defense, Ernesto Jaña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matteo Rocha. The Palguin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matteo Rocha should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ofelio Elso in the 48th minute of play forced Palguin's goalkeeper Matteo Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Norberto Badiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Rast, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ofelio Elso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ofelio Elso in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matteo Rocha saved Palguin from getting behind. Ofelio Elso had several of the Palguin's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Rast blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Badiola having to make a save. 76 minutes into the match, Gerardo Rast notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of False Flags's Norberto Badiola. Norberto Badiola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Rast in the 79th minute of play forced False Flags's goalkeeper Norberto Badiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ofelio Elso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Ofelio Elso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. False Flags's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ofelio Elso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th match minute, Palguin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Aristorena to maneuver through the defense. Ofelio Elso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Matteo Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ernesto Jaña managed to get in a good position for a shot. False Flags's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Jaña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matteo Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. False Flags's Ernesto Jaña got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ofelio Elso struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Matteo Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for False Flags. Gerardo Rast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Palguin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. False Flags were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
