After a rather tough play, Mechaico's Jonatán Demartis got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Conrado Fariña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mechaico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Fariña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salomón Samaniego kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Tamariz Reygadas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Luis Moller, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The nice shot from José Luis Moller in the 21stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Tamariz Reygadas had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the last second Tamariz Reygadas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Felipe Esteban in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. José Luis Moller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Luis Moller did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Tamariz Reygadas 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Fariña in the 46th minute of play forced Tuman's goalkeeper Isaiás Talledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Felipe Esteban made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Mechaico's Conrado Fariña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaiás Talledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mechaico's goalkeeper Tamariz Reygadas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65thth minute of the game José Luis Moller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mechaico's Tamariz Reygadas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrado Fariña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Isaiás Talledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Isaiás Talledo managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Mechaico's Conrado Fariña fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 71 minutes into the match, Tuman's goalkeeper Isaiás Talledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Fariña. 80 minutes into the game, Conrado Fariña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mechaico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tuman the free kick. A collision led to Mechaico getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Conrado Fariña hit a great ball. Isaiás Talledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víctor Javier Tellerias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Alberto Danke hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Felipe Esteban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tamariz Reygadas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tuman's Isaiás Talledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Tuman from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Tuman's José Luis Moller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tamariz Reygadas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tuman's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
