When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Eleuterio Schmauk took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Milián Faúndez to make any attempt to save it. 78 minutes into the match, Quillon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Schmauk came free, but Milián Faúndez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eladio Sandiford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Ruiz Tagle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Briceño kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruesga Almeida got free with Milián Faúndez in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quillon FC's goalkeeper Milián Faúndez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
