Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexis Barcoj in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonso Plata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Hernánde Arteche took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonso Plata. Alonso Plata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alexis Barcoj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Calixto Fiamenghi made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Peñaflor's Lois Grille slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alonso Plata. That made the score 0-2 after 53 minutes of play. Alexis Barcoj charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexis Barcoj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Peñaflor getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alexis Barcoj hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Lois Grille cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Alonso Plata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Próspero Solares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Estevan San Cristóbal. FC Peñaflor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Miguel Hernánde Arteche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonso Plata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. FC Peñaflor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
