Alfalfal's Camilo Pinuer got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Feliciano Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antofagasta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antofagasta FC's Edilberto Aguacero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Pinuer in the 75th minute of play. Edilberto Aguacero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Pinuer in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79thth minute of the game Quique Zelaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antofagasta FC's Edilberto Aguacero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
