Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Jonatan Mery started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alirio Llamllam struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Guacate were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Peñalolen Unido C.D's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Odón Alvar took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Calvino Elorriaga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Mery in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavi Eguiluz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xavi Eguiluz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúlo Cruzat in the 17th minute of play. Raúlo Cruzat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavi Eguiluz having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Normando Alzamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Goyenechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Normando Alzamora in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Goyenechea saved Peñalolen Unido C.D from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Normando Alzamora in the 29th minute of play forced Peñalolen Unido C.D's goalkeeper Rodrigo Goyenechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Goyenechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Alzamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match Calvino Elorriaga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Goyenechea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Raúlo Cruzat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd of the match, Normando Alzamora tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Rodrigo Goyenechea got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 45th minute of the match Guacate got a corner. Peñalolen Unido C.D's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Odón Alvar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Odón Alvar made a great header on Guacate's corner, it was just that Peñalolen Unido C.D's Rodrigo Goyenechea managed to reach the ball for a save. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Rodrigo Goyenechea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Normando Alzamora to make the kick off. Alirio Llamllam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Raúlo Cruzat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xavi Eguiluz having to make a save. After 75 played minutes Peñalolen Unido C.D got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Matus. Raúlo Cruzat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 played minutes Peñalolen Unido C.D got a freekick which was hit by Tor Deppe. Rodrigo Goyenechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Alzamora in the 83rd minute of the match. When Guacate's Normando Alzamora in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peñalolen Unido C.D! In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Guacate. Odón Alvar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rodrigo Goyenechea. 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Guacate fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peñalolen Unido C.D had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
