The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberto Majluf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Goyenechea made a huge save. If Jonatan Mery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25thth minute of the game Maximino Guillermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peñalolen Unido C.D's Rodrigo Goyenechea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tignamar AFC's Nahuel Pascual couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Peñalolen Unido C.D. Rodrigo Goyenechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Guillermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peñalolen Unido C.D! Maximino Guillermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peñalolen Unido C.D's Filiberto Matus suffered a concussion in the 45th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Ernesto Daniel Berau fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tignamar AFC's protests and gave Ernesto Daniel Berau a yellow card for diving instead. Ernesto Daniel Berau kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Maximino Guillermo made the kick off in the second half. Dino Bastarrica kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Maximino Guillermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tignamar AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Guillermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Goyenechea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Peñalolen Unido C.D's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Guillermo came free, but Rodrigo Goyenechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Guillermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Goyenechea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Majluf went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Guillermo in the 64th minute of play forced Peñalolen Unido C.D's goalkeeper Rodrigo Goyenechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Majluf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodrigo Goyenechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Majluf, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alberto Majluf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rodrigo Goyenechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Tignamar AFC's Alberto Majluf made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Goyenechea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peñalolen Unido C.D's Jonatan Mery suffered a sore thigh after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tignamar AFC's Ernesto Daniel Berau got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Ernesto Daniel Berau off the ground. The supporters of Peñalolen Unido C.D booed when Tignamar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Daniel Berau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Peñalolen Unido C.D was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúlo Cruzat to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Guillermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rodrigo Goyenechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Majluf struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Rodrigo Goyenechea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tignamar AFC. Alberto Majluf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rodrigo Goyenechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Serafín Dragicevic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alberto Majluf came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tignamar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Majluf couldn't finish the play. Tignamar AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
