Jose Miguel Araus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manu Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Constantino Porte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jeronimo Morel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Puangue's Manu Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velasco Zercalde in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Miguel Araus in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manu Romero saved Puangue from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Taurino Malicet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Porte in the 33rd minute of play forced Silpasilvani's goalkeeper Jeronimo Morel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Porte got free with Jeronimo Morel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vinos Ibarrueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeronimo Morel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Constantino Porte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Puangue's Jeronimo Morel threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xaime Zuazagoitia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes Jose Miguel Araus rounded Puangue's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Vinos Ibarrueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Manu Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silpasilvani. The supporters of Silpasilvani booed when Puangue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Porte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Silpasilvani's Jose Miguel Araus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Constantino Porte sped through Silpasilvani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeronimo Morel. Velasco Zercalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Manu Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vinos Ibarrueta came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Puangue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinos Ibarrueta couldn't finish the play. Silpasilvani's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
