Virgil Pătrașcu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Constantino Porte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, A.S. Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Porte came free, but José Ignacio Poyancos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgil Pătrașcu's late challenge caught a Puangue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgil Pătrașcu helped the player get up and apologised. Virgil Pătrașcu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Vinos Ibarrueta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puangue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. Roma the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Puangue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinos Ibarrueta to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Truylos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Constantino Porte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Toni Carter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Ibarrueta got free with Manu Romero in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A.S. Roma's Wilfredo Truylos got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Teodoro Ibarrueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute, Teodoro Ibarrueta made a precise shot to the right of Manu Romero. Puangue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Vinos Ibarrueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, A.S. Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Vinos Ibarrueta came free, but José Ignacio Poyancos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Constantino Porte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puangue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantino Porte was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Vinos Ibarrueta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Constantino Porte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Ignacio Poyancos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Ignacio Poyancos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Porte in the 66th minute of the match. When Vinos Ibarrueta came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Puangue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinos Ibarrueta couldn't finish the play. A.S. Roma's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Constantino Porte scored to the left of an out of position José Ignacio Poyancos, making the score, 1-2. In the 77th minute, Wilfredo Camiña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinos Ibarrueta got free with José Ignacio Poyancos in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, A.S. Roma's Claudio Foretic got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Puangue's Constantino Porte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Vinos Ibarrueta scored 1-4 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Ignacio Poyancos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Truylos in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manu Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Claudio Foretic came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the A.S. Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Foretic couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Puangue were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant A.S. Roma side.
