Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Damián Velarde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manuel Gebhard was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancara's goalkeeper Pedro Manuel Gebhard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, Ancara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Peña to maneuver through the defense. Damián Velarde took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manuel Gebhard. Pedro Manuel Gebhard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Camilo Larrauna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damián Velarde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damián Velarde in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manuel Gebhard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Larrauna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosme Peñafiel having to make a save. Damián Velarde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manuel Gebhard having to interfere. Camilo Larrauna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Peñafiel having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Ancara's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Oroeta came free, but Pedro Manuel Gebhard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Camilo Larrauna made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manuel Gebhard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Oroeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Josué Oroeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Refugio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Oroeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manuel Gebhard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Damián Velarde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manuel Gebhard was a little too slow when Jasone Aguacero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-2. After 70 played minutes Ancara got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Hucke. Ubaldo Matildo Marinkovic, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 76th minute Camilo Larrauna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Peñafiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damián Velarde's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manuel Gebhard firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Ancara's Pedro Manuel Gebhard got control of the ball when Damián Velarde tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Camilo Larrauna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Larrauna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Larrauna in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Peñafiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 played minutes Ancara got a freekick which was hit by Abelado Ortuño. Demetrio Dalgalarrando's late challenge caught a Ancara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demetrio Dalgalarrando helped the player get up and apologised. Cosme Peñafiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Larrauna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Higinio Larrañeta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cosme Peñafiel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Refugio FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
