Esteban Varela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucas Painevilu came out and tried to block the shot, but Esteban Varela slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. Chumpulli's Francisco Alberto Almonacid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cresenciano Venezian in the 26th minute of play. Cresenciano Venezian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Alberto Almonacid having to make a save. Ludovico Cuenca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Francisco Alberto Almonacid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludovico Cuenca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Alberto Almonacid having to interfere. Cresenciano Venezian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Alberto Almonacid having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Chuac FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Varela came free, but Lucas Painevilu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Orlondón Albertz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. Chumpulli's Rubén Puebla couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chuac FC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience was convinced that Esteban Varela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Painevilu was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 55 played minutes Chuac FC got a freekick which was hit by Marín Cavareda. 2-1 became the score in the 58th minute when Esteban Varela elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chuac FC's Horacio Jesus Poza got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Horacio Jesus Poza off the ground. Ludovico Cuenca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Francisco Alberto Almonacid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Esteban Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chumpulli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes Chumpulli got a freekick which was hit by Maurín Alba. Esteban Varela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Painevilu having to make a save. Lucas Painevilu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Armando Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marín Cavareda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chumpulli had won after a very even match.
