Jaime Dueñas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Val Polanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermenegildo Garachena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rodolfo Roques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Josué Arbieto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodolfo Roques was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Hermenegildo Garachena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achacollo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermenegildo Garachena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Arbieto in the 34th minute of play forced Panilongo AFC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Roques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Achacollo's goal looked a bit too open when Mannuel Mosca came free, but Jaime Dueñas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Tauro Abascal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Achacollo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panilongo AFC the free kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Val Polanco was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Panilongo AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gilberto Hesse hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Hermenegildo Garachena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josué Arbieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panilongo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mannuel Mosca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Dueñas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mannuel Mosca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jaime Dueñas came out and tried to block the shot, but Mannuel Mosca slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 81st minute. The Panilongo AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
