The Patillos fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Patillos's Regino Camus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Francisco Escala in the 11th minute of play forced Patillos's goalkeeper Fortunato Astigueta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If José Luis Traverso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Astigueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Luis Traverso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Patillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edilberto Unda to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriel Ancavil during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 23 minutes into the game, one of Barnechea FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Patillos's Fortunato Astigueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Barcoj in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Patillos's Edilberto Unda got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Efraín Jina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. After 46 played minutes Barnechea FC got a freekick which was hit by Adriel Ancavil. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Lautroup made a kick off. Ismael Lautroup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Doursther having to interfere. Gervasio Doursther came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Patillos's Ismael Lautroup. But to his dismay, Ismael Lautroup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 67 minutes into the match, Patillos's goal looked a bit too open when José Luis Traverso came free, but Fortunato Astigueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efraín Jina got free with Fortunato Astigueta in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Román Catalá scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Doursther, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edilberto Unda charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edilberto Unda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edilberto Unda hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jonatan Barcoj struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Fortunato Astigueta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnechea FC. Adriel Ancavil kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Fortunato Astigueta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efraín Jina, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Patillos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
