The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Bowie made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Charlin in the 63rd minute of play forced Cutijmalla's goalkeeper Alejandro Armaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taurino Urbistondo scored 1-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Armaza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
