The tension between the Chaqui AFC and the Acero Cap players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chaqui AFC's Celedonio Julio got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes, Acero Cap's Zarpas Torre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Seran Davalos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Acero Cap reached it. Baudelio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Tornero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Acero Cap's zone, Andolín Celedón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baudelio Machado came out of the goal and Andolín Celedón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Plácido Collados was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acero Cap's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaqui AFC the free kick. After 27 played minutes Acero Cap got a freekick which was hit by Plácido Collados. Acero Cap's Baudelio Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Tornero in the 29th minute of play. If Alex Tornero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chaqui AFC's Andolín Celedón got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seran Davalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban José Warnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Chaqui AFC's Andolín Celedón stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Baudelio Machado stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Acero Cap of the goal.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Backhouse couldn't finish the play. Esteban José Warnes came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Seran Davalos could save by the left post. In the 82nd minute, Manuelo Santa Ana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match, Jorge Backhouse tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Seran Davalos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Baudelio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Tornero in the 93rd minute of play. If Andolín Celedón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chaqui AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Acero Cap's performance. The match ended with a win for Acero Cap.
