In the 26th minute Urtsín Marre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Ehijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob Ehijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alipio Ramos in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, one of Curico AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rogelio Faraggi shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Eufrasio Dawson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mónico Lisperguer's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Mónico Lisperguers short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Eufrasio Dawson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 34thth minute of the game Mónico Lisperguer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curico AFC's Eufrasio Dawson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nastasio Victoriano in the 36th minute of play forced Curico AFC's goalkeeper Eufrasio Dawson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, LA RUTA DEL CHUNCHO's Mónico Lisperguer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eufrasio Dawson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eufrasio Dawson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eufrasio Dawson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nastasio Victoriano went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Mónico Lisperguer managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA RUTA DEL CHUNCHO's supporters rose to their feet, but Mónico Lisperguer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Curico AFC's Eufrasio Dawson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacob Ehijo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urtsín Marre in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alipio Ramos got free with Jacob Ehijo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacob Ehijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niguel Hidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Dionisio Rouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eufrasio Dawson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Niguel Hidalgo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curico AFC and the LA RUTA DEL CHUNCHO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niguel Hidalgo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Jacob Ehijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niguel Hidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Niguel Hidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Ehijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mónico Lisperguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eufrasio Dawson having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Curico AFC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Angel Quiñones. Jacob Ehijo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Alipio Ramos sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Curico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mónico Lisperguer came free, but Eufrasio Dawson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curico AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
