Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 26th minute Gregorio De la Cuadra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufrasio Dawson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Giancarlo Sadin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enrico Burgoa, passed just outside the right post. Urtsín Marre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Burgoa having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gregorio De la Cuadra made the kick off in the second half. Nama FC's Iván Luis Dagnino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eufrasio Dawson but with some difficulty. Elizalde Rakela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eufrasio Dawson having to interfere. Giancarlo Sadin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curico AFC's Giancarlo Sadin got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Curico AFC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Curico AFC's Aaron Parodi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 79 minutes, Gregorio De la Cuadra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nama FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio De la Cuadra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregorio De la Cuadra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eufrasio Dawson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Urtsín Marre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrico Burgoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Curico AFC's Eufrasio Dawson got control of the ball when Elizalde Rakela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elizalde Rakela came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eufrasio Dawson could save by the left post. In the 95th minute, Alipio Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Curico AFC were the better team. Curico AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
