The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaston Marchetti hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Alvar Cares charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvar Cares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Colton got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Cares. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Justiniano got free with Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salvatore Lagarrigue kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Justiniano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Arnaldo Disselkoen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Mateo Marchena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Saldés in the 33rd minute of play forced Limaxina's goalkeeper Rafael Henson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Disselkoen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tor Saldés in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Henson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaldo Disselkoen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Limaxina's Eriberto Justiniano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan. That made the score 1-0 after 45 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Colton's Tor Saldés got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Disselkoen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Eriberto Justiniano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limaxina's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Justiniano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Cristofer Prenafeta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafael Henson. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Limaxina's zone, Cristofer Prenafeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Henson came out of the goal and Cristofer Prenafeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Justino Feldman walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Limaxina's zone, Cristofer Prenafeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Henson came out of the goal and Cristofer Prenafeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristofer Prenafeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
