The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabián Gumucio got free with Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eber Alday blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Aquina's Dante Fernández got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Colton's José Antonio Ross broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Salomón Aliste charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salomón Aliste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabián Gumucio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan having to interfere. Cosme Mazuelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristofer Prenafeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes of play, Colton's Tor Saldés made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Mazuelas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Aquina's zone, Cristofer Prenafeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Mazuelas came out of the goal and Cristofer Prenafeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquina's Cosme Mazuelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelado Mac Auliffe in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Tor Saldés had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Mazuelas. Aquina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tor Saldés was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Cosme Mazuelas was a little too slow when Cristofer Prenafeta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-4. After having played for 62 minutes, Eber Alday managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aquina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eber Alday was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tor Saldés fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Mazuelas having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Guntademaro Escala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eber Alday's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Abelado Mac Auliffe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aquina the free kick. The supporters of Aquina booed when Colton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelado Mac Auliffe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eber Alday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelado Mac Auliffe was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Colton getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Abelado Mac Auliffe hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Dante Fernández made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Antonio Huaiquipan. Colton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvatore Lagarrigue during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Colton got a freekick which was hit by Salvatore Lagarrigue. Tor Saldés who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Cosme Mazuelas when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
