Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) When Niceto Mendiola fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quepe's protests and gave Niceto Mendiola a yellow card for diving instead. Umaquilca AFC's Moncho Zañartu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siluna Word in the 9th minute of play. If Rogerio Recabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moncho Zañartu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siluna Word, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogerio Recabal got free with Aitor Santis in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siluna Word might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moncho Zañartu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siluna Word ran back to his position shaking his head. Aitor Santis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualberto Hanssen in the 34th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Rodolfo Markovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aitor Santis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moncho Zañartu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionisio Erwenne's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Francisco Antonio Colipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Quepe's Eulalio Iglesias broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualberto Hanssen to strike the kick off in the second half. If Siluna Word had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Erwenne in the 53rd minute of play forced Umaquilca AFC's goalkeeper Moncho Zañartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siluna Word fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moncho Zañartu having to interfere. If Dionisio Erwenne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Erwenne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Umaquilca AFC's zone, Siluna Word stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moncho Zañartu came out of the goal and Siluna Word tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disvandis Villarino might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moncho Zañartu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Disvandis Villarino ran back to his position shaking his head. If Siluna Word had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Umaquilca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualberto Hanssen to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Dionisio Erwenne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moncho Zañartu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Quepe's César Caldera got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Gualberto Hanssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogerio Recabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aitor Santis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gualberto Hanssen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umaquilca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualberto Hanssen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aitor Santis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aitor Santis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualberto Hanssen in the 92nd minute of play. The Umaquilca AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quepe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
