Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tenaun's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinos Canepa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Ibarbia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Haroldo Ibarbia managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Tenaun's Vinos Canepa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Bartolomé Edwards, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 7 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Haroldo Ibarbia was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Celedonio Jeldrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heliodoro Demanet in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Bartolomé Edwards got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tenaun's Celedonio Jeldrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Diena in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Chelis's goalkeeper Haroldo Ibarbia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinos Canepa. In the 17th match minute, Chelis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Javier Marty to maneuver through the defense. Vinos Canepa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Haroldo Ibarbia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Jeldrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Diena in the 39th minute of the match. Bartolomé Edwards might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Ibarbia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolomé Edwards ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 43 minutes, Vinos Canepa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenaun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinos Canepa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Tenaun's goal looked a bit too open when Heliodoro Demanet came free, but Celedonio Jeldrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartolomé Edwards was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelis's goalkeeper Haroldo Ibarbia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Vinos Canepa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Ibarbia was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Tenaun's Bartolomé Edwards sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Ibarbia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haroldo Ibarbia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomé Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tenaun's Celedonio Jeldrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Javier Marty in the 67th minute of play. Celedonio Jeldrez came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Chelis's Heliodoro Demanet. But to his dismay, Heliodoro Demanet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Heliodoro Demanet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Diena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Celedonio Jeldrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexis Melgarejo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chelis booed when Tenaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Diena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Jeldrez having to interfere. The Chelis players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tenaun from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
