An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Alsina in the 3rd minute of play forced POPXLAR's goalkeeper Anton Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Chalco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ninhue booed when POPXLAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Carlos Aristizaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, POPXLAR's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Coromina came free, but Anton Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mark Chalco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Inocencio Coromina fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ninhue's protests and gave Inocencio Coromina a yellow card for diving instead. Inocencio Coromina hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. POPXLAR's Anton Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lois Larraguibel in the 27th minute of play. Anton Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Alsina in the 32nd minute of the match. Domenico Catoni lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave POPXLAR a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bermejo Azpuru, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ninhue's Vladimiro Serre. 1-0. Isidoro Alsina charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Alsina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. POPXLAR's Urtsín Ascuí was substituted for David Iriart. After 49 played minutes Ninhue got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Alsina.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mark Chalco made a kick off. Isidoro Alsina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Anton Marin made a huge save. 59 minutes into the game, Juan Fernando Viñuela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. POPXLAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninhue the free kick. Juan Fernando Viñuela kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Isidoro Alsina got in the 61st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anton Marin handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Rafael Cañas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninhue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Cañas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Bermejo Azpuru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ninhue getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Inocencio Coromina hit a great ball. When Vinicio Castañeda came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the POPXLAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Castañeda couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Mark Chalco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimiro Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Chalco in the 92nd minute of the match. Mark Chalco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Serre having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Ninhue's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Chalco came free, but Vladimiro Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lois Larraguibel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anton Marin came out and tried to block the shot, but Lois Larraguibel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 98th minute. The POPXLAR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ninhue's performance. The match ended with a win for Ninhue.
