Juan Ignacio Meckes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alvino Lerga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Emiliano Amigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvino Lerga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson De la Barra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Tor Olate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes Salamanca FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Armando Mac Kay. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Ignacio Meckes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilson De la Barra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Lincoi's Alvino Lerga got control of the ball when Wilson De la Barra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Salamanca FC's Juan Ignacio Meckes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 83 minutes into the match, Lincoi's goalkeeper Alvino Lerga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson De la Barra. Alvino Lerga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson De la Barra in the 84th minute. Alvino Lerga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ignacio Meckes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
