Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cresenciano Araoz in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarpas Lanas saved Salamanca FC from getting behind. When Horacio De la Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Cajon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio De la Cruz couldn't finish the play. If Wilson De la Barra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Salamanca FC's Aristides Alzerreca got a free kick in the 21st minute. Cresenciano Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Zarpas Lanas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Alcocer's late challenge caught a Cajon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Alcocer helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Salamanca FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Alcocer. Luis Eduardo Aguayo's shot from long distance in the 27th minute was not bad at all, but Salamanca FC's Zarpas Lanas knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Domenico Abello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarpas Lanas having to interfere. Octavio Súnico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson De la Barra in the 35th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Salamanca FC defense, Domenico Abello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zarpas Lanas. The Salamanca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zarpas Lanas should have stopped the shot. Domenico Abello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cresenciano Araoz to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Cresenciano Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarpas Lanas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Salamanca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Abello came free, but Zarpas Lanas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Gacitúa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Abello in the 67th minute of play forced Salamanca FC's goalkeeper Zarpas Lanas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson De la Barra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Octavio Súnico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cresenciano Araoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zarpas Lanas was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cajon FC's zone, Wilson De la Barra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Súnico came out of the goal and Wilson De la Barra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Juan Ignacio Meckes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Eduardo Aguayo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Zarpas Lanas came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Cajon FC's Domenico Abello. But to his dismay, Domenico Abello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Wilson De la Barra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Octavio Súnico skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 94th match minute, Cajon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Felipe Oxman to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th play minute Wilson De la Barra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Octavio Súnico. 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cajon FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Salamanca FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
