Juan Ignacio Monasterio started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Guilleumo AFC's Ramon María Alcayaga got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Victor Hugo Jaramillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes, Ramon María Alcayaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guilleumo AFC and the FuiAlBalón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Ramon María Alcayaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Acuña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Guilleumo AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Luis Angel Urceda hit a great ball. The supporters of FuiAlBalón FC booed when Guilleumo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Topocho Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Daniel Acuña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FuiAlBalón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Acuña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Paulo Carrillo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FuiAlBalón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Carrillo couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute Victor Hugo Jaramillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Miguel Ángel Osorio fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FuiAlBalón FC's protests and gave Miguel Ángel Osorio a yellow card for diving instead. Domingo Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Hugo Jaramillo made a kick off. Ramon María Alcayaga hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Daniel Acuña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Guilleumo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pol Soza to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, FuiAlBalón FC's Daniel Acuña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingo Amor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Guilleumo AFC's Ramon María Alcayaga got a free kick in the 74th minute. Rodolfo Azpuru was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Telmo Victoriano managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Guilleumo AFC's Juan Ignacio Monasterio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Domingo Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Acuña in the 84th minute of play. Domingo Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Acuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FuiAlBalón FC's Telmo Victoriano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ignacio Monasterio in the 86th minute of play. Victor Hugo Jaramillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Guilleumo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Hugo Jaramillo came free, but Domingo Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Hugo Jaramillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Domingo Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FuiAlBalón FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guilleumo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
