The excitement rose when Licanantay's Soriano Buendia after 67 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Guilleumo AFC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-2. Rexino Doebbel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Domingo Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Monardes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simón Solis's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 88th minute, Licanantay's Hisashi Mitsui ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingo Amor. Domingo Amor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Licanantay's Rexino Doebbel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Licanantay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
