Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) Cuenca's Ferrán Amezqueta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Maria Gorriti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Iribarren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. When Ferrán Amezqueta came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cuenca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferrán Amezqueta couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Alfredo Villaseñor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernán Villarreal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cuenca's Natalio Iribarren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Maria Gorriti in the 18th minute of play. Enrique Baracaldo scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raymundo Lama, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Narcís Lagarrigue managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tilluma's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcís Lagarrigue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Iribarren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 32 played minutes Tilluma got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Mauad. The crowd rose to their feet as Cuenca's Ferrán Amezqueta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raymundo Lama. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. Natalio Iribarren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Maria Gorriti went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 45 minutes, Eleuterio Mauad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tilluma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Mauad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Maria Gorriti to make the kick off. Ferrán Amezqueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Raymundo Lama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Maria Gorriti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Rafael Maria Gorriti took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Natalio Iribarren to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Cuenca's Natalio Iribarren got control of the ball when Narcís Lagarrigue tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raymundo Lama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Baracaldo in the 70th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Rafael Maria Gorriti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Natalio Iribarren. Rafael Maria Gorriti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Cuenca's Ferrán Amezqueta got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Cuenca's goalkeeper Natalio Iribarren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narcís Lagarrigue. 91 minutes into the match, Tilluma's goal looked a bit too open when Ferrán Amezqueta came free, but Raymundo Lama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Arnau Daniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tilluma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnau Daniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Enrique Baracaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Tilluma left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cuenca.
