Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abdul Droguett made the kick off which started today's match. Gaitán Gaymer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Sudi having to interfere. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Abdul Droguett sped through Tantauco's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Higinio Nordon. When Odol Magofke came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Maichin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odol Magofke couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes in the game, Gaitán Gaymer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arturo Sudi having to interfere. Gaitán Gaymer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tantauco's Higinio Nordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Droguett in the 23rd minute of play. Gaitán Gaymer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Elear Maldini fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tantauco's protests and gave Elear Maldini a yellow card for diving instead. Elear Maldini kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match, Gaitán Gaymer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arturo Sudi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gaitán Gaymer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Sudi having to make a save. Arturo Sudi was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Remicio Yáñez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remicio Yáñez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Gaitán Gaymer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Arturo Sudi made a huge save. Gaitán Gaymer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Arturo Sudi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaitán Gaymer was the one to do the kick off. Maichin's Arturo Sudi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remicio Yáñez in the 51st minute of play. Juan Jose Zapata charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Jose Zapata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Jose Zapata hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Gaitán Gaymer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tantauco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaitán Gaymer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tantauco's Baraquiel Collados got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Tantauco's Gaitán Gaymer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Sudi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 81 minutes of play, Tantauco's Gaitán Gaymer made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Sudi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 played minutes Tantauco got a freekick which was hit by Adelmo Arizmendi. Gaitán Gaymer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Arturo Sudi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remicio Yáñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Sudi having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tantauco had played much better football throughout.
