The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Mondaca got free with Erasmo Bauza in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Paz in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milián Carrizo saved Pucapa FC from getting behind. Jesus Balart's late challenge caught a Pucapa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Balart helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Hospital AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pucapa FC:s goal. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 15 played minutes, when Pucapa FC:s Fabio Gebauer calmly waited for Hospital AFC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 20th minute, Raimundo Mondaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Vidaurre in the 24th minute of play forced Hospital AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Bauza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tauro Azagra hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Marco Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Milián Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A very good chance. After 48 played minutes Hospital AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Bueras. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Paz to make the kick off. Cerilo Amthauer's late challenge caught a Hospital AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Despite this Milián Carrizo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Juan Bueras kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Filiberto Vidaurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marco Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Marco Paz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Milián Carrizo to make any attempt to save it. Zarpas Atienza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Milián Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Zarpas Atienza could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Milián Carrizo however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Zarpas Atienza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hospital AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zarpas Atienza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milián Carrizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zarpas Atienza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zarpas Atienzas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Milián Carrizo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marco Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Milián Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarpas Atienza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Pucapa FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Fabiani. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
