The throw-in from Mark Báez in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fuego FC's Eric Palamara. Soriano Galeas made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dante Venturino however managed to control. SILVANITA FC's Juan Carlos Laferte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurino Devoto in the 22nd minute of play. Eloy Jordy might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Carlos Laferte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eloy Jordy ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 25 minutes, Maurino Devoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuego FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurino Devoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloy Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Juan Carlos Laferte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Jacobo Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuego FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Lazcano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Eloy Jordy notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SILVANITA FC's Juan Carlos Laferte. Juan Carlos Laferte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fuego FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Jordy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Carlos Laferte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogerio Landea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Jordy to make the kick off. The SILVANITA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Carlos Laferte should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SILVANITA FC's zone, Maurino Devoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Laferte came out of the goal and Maurino Devoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Eloy Jordy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuego FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After having played for 96 minutes, Amador Davalos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SILVANITA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Davalos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fuego FC fully deserved thier win.
